Below is an accommodation received by the Rockland County Conservation Association from the New York State Assembly for making a significant influence in the quality of life of the community.
Assembly No. 1734 COMMEMORATING the 70th Anniversary of the
organizations of the State of New York whose focus and intent have made a substantial impact on the quality of life in their communities; and
traditions, it is the sense of this Assembled Body to commemorate the 70th Anniversary of the Rockland County Conservation Association, Inc. to be celebrated at its Winter Quarterly Meeting at The United Church of Spring Valley, Spring Valley, New York on Thursday, February 10, 2000; and
of Pomona, New York has enjoyed a long and distinguished history of service on behalf of the environment and the people of Rockland County; and
in direct correlation to the efforts of the loyal members, past and present, whose involvement is and has been characterized by an impressive commitment, an unbridled enthusiasm, and an uncompromising standard of excellence in all endeavors on behalf of the organization and the population it serves; and
of this Assembled Body to extend its highest commendation to the Rockland County Conservation Association; now, therefore, be it
70th Anniversary of the Rockland County Conservation Association, Inc. to be celebrated February 10, 2000; and be it further
